We are looking for an experienced and awesome Team Lead to join our startup team in Munich (or remote for exceptional candidates), leading the development of our highly innovative Precision Medicine Platform. Shivom’s platform will combine state-of-the-art technologies, including blockchain, cryptography, genomics, IoT and artificial intelligence. As a core member of our startup you will be responsible to supervise and lead the architecture for the GDPR-compliant Shivom platform. You will design and implement novel algorithms, data structures, and infrastructure to enable the users of the product to quickly and effectively process, analyze, report, and manage their complex genomic and healthcare data. You will operate in an exciting collaborative, quality-driven, and agile environment with the focus on delivering high-impact software and services addressing customer needs. This is a hands-on role with a small team (initially), an interdisciplinary, multi-faceted position that offers an exciting opportunity to learn new technologies and to work with the world’s best experts in the fields of blockchain and AI.

This full-time position is based at our co-working office in Munich, Germany, conveniently located close to Beergardens and with the option to work from home for several days each week. Key Responsibilities

Build and develop a world-class team of new generation digital health and blockchain experts
Oversee and coordinate enterprise platform development projects
Supervise remote teams
Design system architecture and develop robust backend and microservices
Advise on system implementation, architecture, and integration strategies
Play an active role in the Scrum process
Work closely with a host of cross-functional partners from the AI, pharma, blockchain and cybersecurity field, to evaluate new or changing business requirements
Write high quality, reusable code, prevent vulnerabilities
Improve our continuous delivery processes by automated software validation capabilities
Enforce data management/lifecycle policies and ensure data governance on-premises
Design, execute and maintain IT SOPs for our hardware and software services
Ensure GDPR-compliance for all processes and platform features

Ideal Profile

MSc, or Ph.D. in computer science, mathematics, bioinformatics, physics or related fields is ideal
You have a successful track record of implementing and integrating enterprise software systems, preferably in the life science/healthcare industry

A background in precision medicine, especially molecular biology and genetics

Knowledge in Human Genome Data Processing & Bioinformatics
Smart contract and ERC20 Tokens experience
